Great View and pool - but almost no WiFi

Amazing view from balcony and beautiful warm pool with a view - quite special! Very big apartment, with decent kitchen and big fridge, and nicely decorated. Lovely well maintained gardens.

WiFi was terrible and always dropped constantly and when it worked it was very weak. This also affected the TV services such as Netflix. It is 2024 and functional WiFi should be standard. Pool area needs new terracing - the wood is deteriorating. It seems the place needs some general maintenance, tiles peeling off in places etc. Its getting kinda old. The beach area is just rocks and not really nice to sit on (but the snorkling is great!).

Warmest welcome, fabulous views but you need a car

The apartment had a large private balcony with two aspects so it was possible to sunbathe in one area and then move to a more shaded area for lunch. The views out on to the bay were also spectacular. The welcome from the host was one of the warmest ever received.

The decor/furniture of the apartment was somewhat dated but it was functional and clean. There was very little within walking distance so a car would be essential.

Lovely area, beautifull house with perfectly maintained garden, nice swimming pool, great view

rather strange bedroom with no window, all things we were missing in the kitchen were added after request, rather rocky entry to the beach (missing stairs)

Very relaxing stay.

Location was perfect in front of the sea (National Reserve), clear water, very quiet (no motor boat were allowed). View facing the sea. Beautiful manicured garden/lawn with various species of trees/shrubs/flowers. Very clean surroundings of the pool and water. Plenty of space for sunbathing. Choose not to have any breakfast (own breakfast in the apartment)

Bathroom need a refurbishment. Shower too small, we could barely get in/out and we are not "fatty" persons. Toilet paper that was supposed to be thrown in a bucket and not in the toilet, strange .

Family end of summer getaway

The facilities were lovely and location for snorkeling super! Annelisa, the main host was so friendly and helpful too. The pool area was glorious and views just as stunning. Aircon in the rooms was a lifesaver for us to cool off after hot days out and about. We also liked having our own kitchenette to prepare snacks and meals for our toddler.

While clean, the shower was old and needed a deep clean with descaler and mould spray. The bed was very comfortable, but had extremely thin pillows and one only so we weren't able to double up. There also wasn't any sort of thicker duvet, only a thin sheet which wasn't enough in the middle of the night when the temperature was quite cool. Location was not at all convenient for groceries, but I suppose this is only relevant if you're using the self catering units. There were also no swim towels provided which could have been a nice touch to our stay.

Very Good

Great views, really unique setting being right above a marine protected area. The snorkeling is great and the pool was nice as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was strong and worked well in our unit. Air-conditioning worked well.

It’s in a quieter area, and there’s not a bar/restaurant at the hotel. Once we got set up with groceries it was easy. Definitely need a car.

It was okay, not the best, not the worst. The rooms were clean, but they need a paint job.

Private beach, the pool was okay, super warm though.

The room and the hotel in general is screaming for cosmetic renovations. Other than that the place is quite nice. The breakfast offering also wasn’t very nice, not the best price performance.

Great location, but that’s it. You need a car to get around.

Great and private access to the sea. Beautiful views. Nice pool and quite and safe and well-maintaned garden surrounded by tall walls.

Literally in the middle of nowhere. If you don’t have a car, you’re stuck. No restaurants open and no shops close by, the closest very small shop about 1,5 km away. Villa is beautiful on the outside, inside not so much. Also, the kitchen in not well-equiped. no salt, no oil, no wine glasses (in Italy?). Plus, at check-out I was forced to pay about 20 EUR extra for my 4 days stay as some sort of tax – why not add it to the price directly? Also fun fact, they ask you to not to throw toilet paper into the WC, but instead you should throw it in the bin next to it. Doesn’t seem sanitary.

Good

it is out of the way, if you have a car perfect, if not don't go there. Road signs, as with all of Sicilly are useless, google maps is spot on. Only a few restaurants near by, fully booked when we were there, so again without a car we would have starved. Villa is nice, although balcony is small and no outdoor space for chairs in our flat. Staff excellent. We did a 3 day stay and for that perfect. Very easy to get into and out of local attrations, so long as you have a car.

Beaches packed. Litter everywhere and the infrastructure is universally in a state of disrepair. Smoking in restaurants. PAy to park cars everywhere. Get good car insurance as you can almost gaurentee a scratch

This was a wonderful place for us to relax and recharge our batteries.

superb location for relaxing near to the water. Just a few steps to pool and/or sea. addition of canvas cover for balcony brought welcome additional shade on day 2.

Cutting off electricity when going out restricts what we can safely keep in the fridge. Suggest putting the fridge on a separate circuit breaker so it stays on during tenure. The sliding door to the balcony is a little difficult to close properly (and thus enable air con to be operating) and can’t be operated from the balcony.

it’s special and quiet. the views are breathtaking. expected very little based on reviews and was very pleasantly surprised. is the property old? ya. but it’s quaint. make sure you bring your own food as there isn’t much near by. perfect getaway place!
